Abstract
The paper proposes a pre/post-earthquake 'holistic & digital' quick survey tool for smart digital/geo-referenced inventories, obtained by digitalisation/integration of existing survey forms. New technologies play a fundamental role in data acquisition/analysis, employing digital devices (iPad, tablets), and on-line/off-line data entry through WebGIS sites, in order to bypass the traditional acquisition step on paper. The proposed form allows to record the whole building features (identification parameters, maintenance state, structures and materials typologies, vulnerability/damage state and mechanisms, etc.) by filling a unique digital form consisting in several parts, which can be used singularly or in an integrated way, storing data in a GIS-based and geo-referenced building inventory. The advantages are the single filling of common parts and the possibility to easily update, manage and share the acquired data, with a significant reduction of both time and errors.
